I have known since high school, that i wanted to sew my own wedding dress, however, shopping is fun and i wanted to try on things. So, armed with appointments at Kleinfelds and Pronovias, i took Josh and my Maid of Honor and best friend Hannah and had at it. I tried on 3 or 4 gowns at kleinfelds, where i felt somewhat like cattle and they dont let you take pictures. Here is my favorite dress from there:

Then off to Pronovias. The atmosphere here was way cooler. We sat down with one of their staff and flipped through books picking out ones to try on. They offered us tea, coffee, and champagne and showed us to our dressing room. No issues taking photos here. Check it out.
